Fire & Earth Podcast: E14 Hypnosis is NOT A Circus Freak Show

If you went to the county fair as a child you may have seen stage hypnosis shows that often feel like a circus freak show. People doing silly antics on the stage (e.g. clucking like a chicken), but that is not what hypnosis is really about. Hypnosis is nothing to be afraid of … we hypnotize ourselves without even realizing it all the time … and it is a powerful tool to help us tap into our sub-conscious mind. Instead of trying to use consciousness to fix the sub-conscious brain, why not go right to the source. We can spend years in talk therapy, or we can tap directly into our sub-conscious and get quicker results. In this episode we explain the process and benefits of hypnosis from a hypnotherapist and patient point of view.

Social media is now an every-day part of our lives, and some people use it in a very sleazy way. Fire & Earth Podcast: E7 Manifestations and the Law of Attraction with Victoria Gallagher

Some of you may be a little skeptical about the Law of Attraction. Think positive and everything good will come into your life if you just believe in the woo-woo, seems a little too good to be true. Many of us are taught to be logical, oh responsible, practical so we can be so dependable, oh clinical, intellectual, cynical and discount the power of manifestations and the Law of Attraction. Instead of being cynical about the woo-woo (which btw is now being supported by scientific research) why not give it a try and see if it works for you.

Victoria Gallagher shares her journey of starting as a skeptical stockbroker to her transition to becoming a hypnotherapist and expert in the Law of Attraction. She explains how to make the Law of Attraction practical by listening to those little intuitions and practicing alignment to unlock your potential.

Fire & Earth Podcast: E6 The Masks We Wear

Many people wear masks to show the world one thing, when on the inside they may feel much different. When it comes down to it, most people have insecurities and are afraid to let others know their “real” self. This can lead to negative feelings of unworthiness, being fake, or that we are never good enough.

In order to build authentic and deep relationships with people we have to remove our masks, embrace our weirdness and allow ourselves to be vulnerable. Some people may not like the “real you,” but that’s OK. Those who do will L-O-V-E you.

If you feel like you are wearing a mask you shouldn’t be wearing, have the courage to take it off and be authentically you. Embrace your weirdness and “Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken” – Oscar Wilde.
